The 150 ml coaxial cartridge can be used with the Shubond dispensing gun or standard universal dispensing guns (silicone guns) if an adapter (available separately) is used. Advantages of the Shubond acrylic adhesive relaxed working: With an open working time of 90 to 120 seconds, the fitting can be glued on conveniently and precisely - ideal for users who need a little more time. Glue-u Shuguard is a harder, resilient hoof pad that fits into any standard dispensing gun (silicone gun) with a volume of 250 ml. The hoof pad provides support, protection and cushioning for the hoof sole. In the case of laminitis, the pad can be filled up to the ground. The pad can also be applied directly to the bare hoof. By supporting the sole, the pressure on the hoof wall is relieved and the growth of the heels is improved. The pad takes around 2 minutes to harden, the initial hardening time (open time) is 35 seconds. The glue-u Shuguard pad can be used with all Hoofstar adhesive shoes. Hufpolster glue-u SHUPACK
Glue-u Shupack (formerly Shufill Cushion) is a resilient hoof cushion in the hardness grades Soft (Shore hardness A30) and Medium (Shore hardness A50). With a capacity of 250 ml, the cartridges fit into any standard silicone applicator gun. The hoof pad provides support, protection and cushioning for the hoof sole. In the case of laminitis, the pad can be filled up to the ground. The use of a net (mesh net) is not essential, but recommended. This is also available in our shop. Shufill HOOF PACKING A25
This Glue-U kneading pad is very easy to use. Simply take equal amounts of component A and component B and knead evenly. Then shape it into the desired form. As the pad is silicone-based, it does not stick to the hoof by itself. For this reason, mesh (a grid) or shupads must be used to make the pad stick to the hoof. To do this, cut the mesh to fit the size of the hoof, apply the pad to the hoof, place the mesh on top and place the Hoofstar Rally on top, which is then glued in place. The 2 components provide a total of 1.3 kilos of padding to work with. As a result, this pad is significantly cheaper than a pad for lace-in. Mesh is used to integrate a pad into an glue-on horseshoe. The mesh ensures that the pad remains on the hoof. Application: Cut mesh to the size of the glue-on shoe and put it in the glue-on shoe, then glue it on. After the glue-on shoe has cured, insert the pad. Mesh can be used for Glue-u Shufill, but also for other pads, for example from Luvex. Shupads are the basis for silicones and pads. The pads are supplied as a pack of 2 in the size of 15 x 15.5 cm and can be very easily cut to the correct hoof size with scissors or a nipper. The high quality urethane material ensures that the hoof mechanism is not restricted and keeps the pad in position. Experience shows that Glue-U Shupads are extra durable. Each Shupad is equipped with self-closing injection holes. This makes it easy to inject a liquid cushion into the shoe. The Shupads can also be used to create a floating toe by cutting out the toe and inserting it into the Hoofstar Rally. Spikes
Spikes for the Hoofstar Rally or Hoofstar Swift. We recommend 6 spikes per shoe / hoof. Sold in packs of 12. This means that 24 spikes (2 sets) are needed for a full shoeing. To turn the spikes into the shoe, a spike key is needed. This can be ordered in the "set with spike key". The spike key only needs to be purchased once and can be used again and again. The spike key is inserted into a cordless drill like a bit. It keeps the spikes and screws them in. The pre-drilled holes in the Hoofstar Rally can be used. If more spikes are used than there are holes, they must be pre-drilled approx. 3 mm. Only then can the spikes be inserted. Warum solltest du bei Hoofstar bestellen?
Hoofstar ist ein Hamburger Start-Up von Vladimir Joffe. Sein Fachwissen aus dem Flugzeugbau nutzte der Hamburger Ingenieur, um über einen Zeitraum von mehr als zehn Jahren den perfekten Klebebeschlag für Pferde zu entwickeln.
Es handelt sich um eine der einfachsten und schnellsten Klebeverfahren, das es jemals gab. Der Kleber hält den Bekleb sechs bis neun Wochen in der perfekten Position, danach kann er einfach von Hufbearbeiter:innen abgenommen werden.
Die Klebeschuhe von Hoofstar lassen sich einmalig einsetzen oder nur für eine Reitsaison, da sie keine Schäden am Huf hinterlässen. Außerdem sind sie hervorragend geeignet, um das Pferd von Hufeisen auf Barhuf umzustellen. Durch die Flexibilität des Hoofstar Beklebs bleibt die Eigenbewegung des Hufes vollkommen erhalten.
Die Innovation aus Hamburg ist für ängstliche, geräusch- und geruchsempfindliche Pferde bestens geeignet. Auch Pferde mit Schmerzen profitieren von dem schonenden Verfahren, da sie den Huf nicht lang hochhalten müssen. Während der Hufkleber auf Acrylatbasis aushärtet, können sie normal auf allen vier Hufen stehenbleiben. Reiter vermeiden alle Risiken des konventionellen Beschlags – wie Infektionen der Nagelkanäle, Talgrandausbrüche und Minderdurchblutung. Wer keinen permanenten Hufschutz für sein Pferd benötigt, kann auch auf unseren abnehmbaren Hufschutz (sogenannten Hufschuhe) zurückgreifen. Die Hoofstar Hufschuhe sind in sechs verschiedenen Größen erhältlich. Sie wurden aus dem Feedback professioneller Distanzreiter:innen geformt und verbessert.
Hufschuhe bieten Schutz vor harten oder unebenen Untergründen wie Asphalt oder Schotterpisten. Durch ihre gepolsterte und stoßdämpfende Schicht können sie den Druck auf die Hufe und damit die Belastung der Gelenke und Muskeln des Pferdes verringern. Für Pferde mit empfindlichen oder verletzten Hufen können Hufschuhe einen großen Unterschied machen und den Heilungsprozess beschleunigen.
Außerdem können Hufschuhe helfen, Fehlstellungen der Hufe zu korrigieren und das Hufwachstum in die richtige Richtung zu lenken. Bei der Arbeit mit Pferden, die an Problemen wie Überbeinen oder Überwölbungen leiden, können Hufschuhe den Druck auf die betroffenen Stellen reduzieren und die Auswirkungen dieser Probleme minimieren.
Auch beim Training von Pferden können Hufschuhe eingesetzt werden. Die Verwendung von Hufschuhen verringert das Verletzungsrisiko und bietet dem Pferd mehr Grip und Sicherheit. Dies kann zu schnelleren Fortschritten und einem effektiveren Training führen.
