📦 Contents of the Starter Set
- 1 or 2 pairs of Hoofstar Rally Glue-On Horseshoes (including bridges, in your chosen size)
- 1x or 2x 150 ml Shubond Hoof Glue (Acrylic adhesive) – sufficient for 3 or 6 shoes
- 1x Shubond Dispensing Gun for 150 ml cartridges
- 5x or 10x Mixing Nozzles – enough for multiple attempts, even if small mistakes occur
- 1x Mini stretch film with dispenser
📏 Which size is right?
Measure the hoof width at the widest point (not the length!).
💡 Tip: If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller one – the included bridges allow for flexibility.

The Shubond acrylic adhesive from Glue-U is a high-quality 2-component acrylic-based adhesive that has been specially developed for bonding the Rally adhesive shoe from Hoofstar. With its longer working time and reliable curing, it is particularly easy to use and ideal for precise work. The 150 ml coaxial cartridge can be used with the Shubond dispensing gun or standard universal dispensing guns (silicone guns) if an adapter (available separately) is used. Advantages of the Shubond acrylic adhesive relaxed working: With an open working time of 90 to 120 seconds, the fitting can be glued on conveniently and precisely - ideal for users who need a little more time. Versatile in use: In addition to horseshoes such as the Hoofstar Rally, steel and aluminium can also be bonded. Reliable performance: Can be loaded quickly after 7-8 minutes, even at low temperatures. Technical details Type: 2-component acrylate-based adhesive Working time (open time): 90-120 seconds Colour: Beige Content: 150 ml Mixing tips: Available separately and required for application. Processing instructions Preheating in winter: The adhesive should be heated to 30 °C before use (not above 40 °C). The manufacturer does not guarantee optimum curing below 15 °C. Spikes for the Hoofstar Rally or Hoofstar Swift. We recommend 6 spikes per shoe / hoof. Sold in packs of 12. This means that 24 spikes (2 sets) are needed for a full shoeing. To turn the spikes into the shoe, a spike key is needed. This can be ordered in the "set with spike key". The spike key only needs to be purchased once and can be used again and again. The spike key is inserted into a cordless drill like a bit. It keeps the spikes and screws them in. The pre-drilled holes in the Hoofstar Rally can be used. If more spikes are used than there are holes, they must be pre-drilled approx. 3 mm. Only then can the spikes be inserted.
