Was sind eigentlich Stege?
Die Stege sind wesentliche Bestandteile des Hoofstar Rally. Sie bilden die Verbindung zwischen den beiden Schenkeln des Rally-Klebebeschlags. Bei der Lieferung sind sie nicht montiert. Zu jedem Klebebeschlag wird ein Satz von 3 bis 5 Stegen mitgeliefert.
Wofür werden die Hoofstar Stege benötigt?
Die Stege sind notwendig, um die optimale Breite des Hufschuhs einzustellen. Außerdem dient der Steg der zusätzlichen Haltbarkeit. Ohne Steg würde sich der Klebebeschlag nach einigen Tagen lösen, da das Pferd beim Laufen einfach zu viel Kraft aufwendet. Dies wird durch den Steg gedämpft.
Das Video unten zeigt, wie der Steg richtig eingesetzt wird. Dazu wird der Steg auf einer Seite von oben im 90°-Winkel durch die Öffnung in der Sohle geschoben und dann der zweite Schenkel der Sohle nach innen gebogen, um die zweite Seite des Steges einzuführen.
