Kleben super, kürzen eher schwierig
Heute waren das erste Mal die beiden Vorderhufe dran. Ich habe die Runa eingestellt und mir dann den Überstand hinten angezeichnet. Ich fand das abraspeln der Ecken echt schwierig. Zum Glück habe ich das vor dem Kleben schon gemacht. Am Huf wäre ich daran gescheitert. Das Ankleben selbst ging dann problemlos. Und beim ersten Spaziergang lief sie auch sehr zufrieden. Jetzt muss sich nur noch die Haltbarkeit zeigen.

klappt ganz gut
Das erste Mal zusammen mit meiner Hufpflegerin den Runa Bekleb verwendet. Da noch Winter ist mit Wintereinlage. Diese war ganz schön friemlig zum einschrauben. Wir hatte die Runa vor dem Bekleben in der Länge gekürzt, da mein Pferd sehr zappelig ist, wenn der Huf längere Zeit hochgehalten werden muss. die Kürzung war auch nicht so ganz einfach und hat uns etwas Zeit gekostet. Das eigentliche Bekleben ging dann ganz gut. Die Lichtverhältnisse waren an dem Tag sehr schlecht. Hier haben wir uns mit Handylampe geholfen, um erkennen zu können, ob der Kleber vollständig aufgetragen ist. Inklusive Vorbereitung der Hufe (nur Vorderhufe) habe wir 1,5 h benötigt. Sie läuft damit sehr gut, keine Fühligkeit mehr auf Schotterwegen. Nach 2 Wochen ist die erste Lasche aufgegangen. Diese lag von vornherein schlecht an, so dass ein Spalt zw. Lasche u. Huf unten am Tragrand entstanden ist Gibt es da einen Trick um diesen Spalt aufzufüllen? Irgendwas dazwischen kleben? Ich habe es wieder angeklebt . Vorher mit der empfohlenen (aus dem Onlineshop) Feile gesäubert und aufgeraut. Die Feile fand ich nicht ganz so handlich. Werde es das nächste Mal mit normalen Schleifpaper probieren. Bekleb muss jetzt noch 10 Tage halten, da müssen die Hufe wieder korrigiert werden. Schaun wir mal wie ich den Bekleb runterbekomme.

Prima Produkt und sehr guter Service
Runa geklebt, sehr schwierige Bodenverhältnissenim Offenstall, Pony mit sehr viel Bewegungsdrang und Spieltrieb.
Hält problemlos dem Boden stand, Abrieb am Runa nach 6 Wochen minimal.
Laschen lösten sich immer mal wieder vom Polymer, konnten aber nachgelegt werden.
Auf Nachfrage bei Jana kam prompt eine Lösung, der Service ist super.
Wir werden jetzt auch unsere weiteren Pferde und Ponys bekleben.

Erster Eindruck: Pferd zufrieden
Zum ersten Mal angebracht. Kleber hält so schnell wie versprochen & die Runa machen einen guten ersten Eindruck!
Sollte bei evtl. zweiter Verwendung noch schneller gehen da der Runa schon eingestellt & gekürzt ist 😊 Pony scheint auch zufrieden zu sein 👌

Super bei dünner Sohle
Ich kann nur positives zu dem Beschlag sagen. Gewechselt auf diese System bin ich aufgrund der unkomplizierten und schnellen Anpassung.
Der Schuh sitzt gut an Huf und lässt sich perfekt verarbeiten. Aufgrund etwas unförmiger Hufwand haben wir due Laschen erwärmt un leicht nach innen gebogen. So lassen sie sich super verkleben.
Bisher halten die Laschen alles aus. Von Paddock bis A** Parcours.
Ich hoffe, dass der Beschlag sich genauso gut wiederverwenden lässt. Das wird sich erst in ein paar Wochen zeigen.
Das Pferd ist sehr fühlig. Dünne Sohle mit kaum Wölbung. Mit dem Runa läuft sie ohne Einschränkungen. Danke!

Leicht anzubringen!
Beim ersten Mal haben sie 8 Wochen gehalten! Die hinteren Laschen haben sich 2 mal gelöst aber die konnte man wieder ankleben. Mein Pferd trägt sie vorne und steht im Offenstall. Jetzt beim zweiten Mal haben sich wieder die hinteren Laschen gelöst und eine ist abgebrochen. Im ganzen bin ich aber sehr zufrieden.

Bei uns hat es leider überhaupt nicht funktioniert. Nach mehreren Versuchen haben wir nun aufgegeben, für uns leider ein absoluter flopp...

Top bei Sportpferden
Ich habe mir die Runas bestellt, weil wir heuer extreme Probleme mit Abrieb der Hufe hatten, speziell den hinteren - Durch das nasse Wetter waren die Hufe ständig weich und durch den Quarzsand unserer Reitflächen war nach jedem Ritt deutlich zu sehen, dass die Hufe immer weniger werden. Wir haben zwar Hufschuhe, die wir sonst immer verwenden, aber dadurch, dass die über den Hufballen gehen, haben wir bei den Pferden Abriebwunden bemerkt - So scharf ist der Sand.
Runa bestellt, hinten draufgeklebt - War vielleicht minimal schwieriger als sie vorne zu kleben weil die Positionierung nicht so super einfach war, als die Pferde die Hufe auf den Boden gesetzt haben und sich der Schuh minimal verschoben hat - Beide Pferde laufen super damit, die Runas halten schon seit einigen Wochen obwohl das der erste Klebebeschlag ist, den wir angebracht haben (wir haben also genau null Erfahrung mit Kleben). Unsere Pferde sind aktiv im Sport, wir Springen also damit 1-2x die Woche und haben keinerlei Probleme.
Ich habe noch für beide Pferde ein Reservepaar und denke, dass wir auf jeden Fall im Winter sowieso immer kleben werden, je nachdem wie die Umstände sich während der Turniersaison gestalten, eventuell auch im Frühling/Sommer.

Beschlag super, Kleber naja
Ich habe vor knapp drei Wochen den Runa im Starterpaket bestellt. Die Lieferung ging schnell und alles kam wie erwartet an. Die Größe war auch einfach zu ermitteln, wie in der Größentabelle beschrieben. Nach dem Anbringen lief mein Pferd direkt sichtbar besser, da er sehr fühlig war, aber mit normalen Beschlägen nicht klar kam. Er kann inzwischen sogar auf Steinboden traben wenn ihm danach ist. Also von dem Beschlag selbst bin ich sehr begeistert. Was mich etwas stört ist der Kleber. Ich habe alles wie in der Anweisung beschrieben gemacht aber die Hinteren Laschen lösen sich ständig. Habe jetzt als sie das 3. mal in eineinhalb Wochen los waren einen anderen Kleber verwendet, seither hält alles.

Nicht optimal für flache Hufe
Die Idee hinter dem System ist gut, das Material auch und die Laschen kleben an sich sehr gut am Huf. Mein Pferd hat eher flache breite Hufe mit wenig Trachten, dafür haben die Laschen leider eine zu große Spannung, als das ich sie gut umbiegen kann und festkleben kann. Es entstanden dadurch kleine Lücken zwischen Huf und Lasche.
Size Adjustment
4 adjustment levels – from narrow to wide. The shoe comes preset to the middle position.
🔧 How to adjust:
- Remove the triangular bridge piece.
- Click the pins into the next slot for the desired width.
- Tip: Are the holes aligned in a straight line? Then you've found the right position – now click the shoe into place.
💡 Tip for wider settings:
- Click in and screw one side first.
- Then gently bend the shoe open and click in the second side.
Lock the Size & Degrease
Once you've adjusted the width of the glue-on shoe correctly, it needs to be fixed in place using the included nuts and screws.
- Insert the two included nuts into the aligned holes on the inside of the shoe. Press them in firmly so they stay securely in place.
- Insert the screws from the underside. Make sure to screw them in straight (!!), not at an angle – otherwise, they may strip and won’t hold properly.
- Use the Allen key to tighten the screws until they are completely recessed and flush with the sole of the shoe.
- Double-check that the shoe still fits perfectly after tightening.
Prepare the hoof: Use a hoof rasp to remove dirt and patina from the glue surface. Finish with the fine side to create a smooth surface.
Thoroughly clean the hoof with a lint-free alcohol wipe to remove any dirt, grease, or residue. A clean surface is essential for proper glue adhesion. Then clean the inside of the shoe with a lint-free alcohol wipe as well.
Gluing on the Runa
Once the size is locked in, you're ready to attach the glue-on shoe to the hoof.
- Put on the shoe: Slip the shoe onto the hoof and check the fit again to ensure it's sitting correctly and comfortably.
- Attach the glue tabs: Start with the rear tabs, gluing each one individually. Begin with the left rear tab, then the right rear, and work your way forward.
- Bend the tab outward so the inside is accessible for gluing.
- Apply 1–2 small drops of glue thinly (!) to the inside of the tab. Use as little glue as possible to ensure even spreading and strong adhesion (too much glue reduces bonding strength).
- Press the tab against the hoof and hold for 5 seconds with steady pressure to activate the glue and create a solid bond.
- Repeat this process for each remaining tab until all tabs are securely glued to the hoof.

Application in 4 steps (RUNA glue-on horseshoe) Adjust: Set the RUNA glue-on horseshoe to the hoof width and lock it in place (simple screw click system). Roughen: Carefully roughen the hoof wall with the fine side of the rasp (remove patina/dirt). Degrease: Clean with an alcohol wipe (included in the starter set) and let it evaporate briefly. After that, do not touch with bare hands. Glue: Apply super glue thinly to each tab, press 10 sec. per tab. Let it cure briefly – and you’re ready to go.
