Why choose Hoofstar Swift?
The special feature is the shoe construction, which is more like a sandal than a full shoe. This favours air-moisture circulation and prevents the hoof from standing in a wet shoe. This allows the shoe to be worn much longer than known competitor models, which are often limited to only three hours. Another useful point is that the shoe not only fits directly after fitting and on the freshly worked hoof, but can be adjusted to the hoof growth.
Why use hoof protection?
The preferred variant among hoof shoes is: No shoeing! Many owners try to find the gentlest possible barefoot solution. However, it is not possible to do without any protection at all, because various surfaces such as concrete, asphalt and gravel increase the abrasion. In addition, many horses are sensitive and cannot walk on every surface. In contrast to glue-on shoes, a hoof shoe is the preferred solution if the horse only needs hoof protection when going for a ride or if it runs sensitively on certain surfaces. For bare hoofers, this shoe is the optimal solution when occasional use is required.
