The Hoofstar Mini Stretch Foil is particularly stable and tear-resistant with a thickness of 35my and therefore ideal for fixing the Hoofstar hoof shoes to the hoof. The protruding core and the ergonomic handle make it comfortable to hold and unwind.
We deliver the foil in a set together with the handle, which makes it especially easy to use. Further rolls of mini stretch foil (without handle) are also available in our online shop.
Why mini strech foil?
You need mini stretch foil so that you can glue the hoof shoe Rally accurately to the hoof. The foil allows the hoof shoes to be glued to the ground with the hoof down.
In contrast to commercially available foil from the DIY store or even plastic film, our mini stretch foil is much thicker and more tear-resistant with 35my. This is the only way to build up sufficient tension when wrapping the film (all other films tear beforehand).
The film can be removed without leaving any residue, as it only sticks to itself. Are you buying it for the first time? Then buy the set with handle for easier handling. By the way, both are already included in our starter set.

Spikes for the Hoofstar Rally or Hoofstar Swift. We recommend 6 spikes per shoe / hoof. Sold in packs of 12. This means that 24 spikes (2 sets) are needed for a full shoeing. To turn the spikes into the shoe, a spike key is needed. This can be ordered in the "set with spike key". The spike key only needs to be purchased once and can be used again and again. The spike key is inserted into a cordless drill like a bit. It keeps the spikes and screws them in. The pre-drilled holes in the Hoofstar Rally can be used. If more spikes are used than there are holes, they must be pre-drilled approx. 3 mm. Only then can the spikes be inserted.
