Mein Pferd läuft super damit
Ich habe den Klebebeschlag nun das zweite Mal bei meinem Pferd verwendet und er läuft einfach super damit.
Das Anbringen ist wirklich sehr einfach, lediglich das Zuschneiden bzw. Knipsen auf die richtige Form erfordert etwas Kraft und das richtige Werkzeug. Das Ankleben selbst geht sehr schnell.
Nach sieben Wochen hielt der Klebebeschlag immer noch und wir mussten ihn zur Hufpflege entfernen. Auch das geht einfach.
Leider waren bei einem Eisen zwei Laschen abgerissen. Die Laschen kann man leider nicht ersetzen bzw. wieder anbringen, sodass das Eisen unbrauchbar wurde. Hier würde ich mir wünschen, dass es auch für dieses Problem eine Möglichkeit/Lösung geben würde.
Aber insgesamt eine tolle Möglichkeit seinem Pferd ein unbeschwertes Laufvergnügen zu ermöglichen.
Ich kann den Hoofstar Klebebeschlag nur weiterempfehlen!!!

Zufrieden
Bislang sind meine Stute und ich gut zufrieden mit dem Beschlag. Runa ist von einem Hufbearbeiter ohne Beschlagserfahrung und mir als Laien gut zu händeln. Am Anfang haben wir etwas länger gebraucht, mittlerweile geht es dtl. besser von Hand und entsprechend auch schneller. Ab und an sind Laschen nachzukleben, damit kommen wir aber gut zurecht. Gute Alternative, wenn man seinen Barhufbearbeiter nicht wechseln möchte, das Pferd ohne Eisen aber nicht gut zurecht kommt.

Neues Experiment!
Mein Pferd muss derzeit 24/7 Hufschutz haben und wir probieren jetzt den Runa Klebebeschlag. Im Video sieht das Prozedere sehr einfach aus … in der Praxis ist es aber nicht ganz so! Mit Hilfe meiner Hufbearbeiterin haben wir es dann aber geschafft. An der Vorderhufen halten die Runa sehr gut, an den Hinterhufen wurden nach einer Woche zwei Laschen locker … wir haben sie mehrfach wieder geklebt und hoffen nun, dass sie noch bis zum nächsten Huftermin (5Wochen Intervalle) halren. Generell läuft mein Pferd mit den Runa aber sehr locker, wir bleiben also dran!

Runa Klebebeschlag
Mein Pferd läuft mit dem Runa Klebebeschlag viel besser als mit normalen Hufschuhen. Allerdings war der erste Bekleb nach 2 Tagen wieder ab und seitdem lösen sich jeden zweiten Tag einzelne Laschen, sodass dieser wieder keine 7 Tage am Huf gehalten hat. Obwohl ich neue Klebeflächen angebracht habe.

RUNA Klebebeschlag
Der RUNA Klebebeschlag ist für mein Jungpferd genau richtig und das Video für nervöse Pferde war sehr hilfreich.
Nach vier Wochen hat er sich vorne, auf der Innenseite, die hinterste Lasche komplett abgerissen und die Lasche dahinter klebt noch am Huf, ist aber leider vom Beschlag abgetrennt. Trotzdem hält der Beschlag noch immer am Huf und ich habe es auch nur bemerkt, weil es in höheren Gangarten komische Geräusche gemacht hat.
Die Klebkraft ist also super und ich werde den RUNA Klebebeschlag gleich nachbestellen.

Echte Alternative
Wir haben bisher die Hufschuhe im Galopp verloren und bei Eisen flog der halbe Huf mit weg. Den Runa habe ich jetzt fast 4 Wochen drauf und sind damit heute übers Stoppelfeld galoppiert. Und mussten nicht umdrehen, um die Schuhe zu suchen 😉

Guter Klebebeschlag, Reinigung der Hufe etwas schwierig
Das positive zuerst. Mein Pferd läuft wirklich sehr gut mit dem Klebebeschlag. Er hat eine dünne Sohle und der Tierarzt hat mir Eisen oder Klebebeschlag empfohlen. Die Befestigung war tatsächlich auch einfach. Hat mich nur etwas Überwindung gekostet, es selbst zumachen.
Eine kleine Kritik habe ich leider. Das Loch zum Reinigen der Hufe ist etwas klein. Unter der Brücke am Strahl sammelt sich bei uns viel Sand. Dies lässt sich bislang gut mit einem flachen Gegenstand reinigen. Aber vorne und an den Seiten schiebt sich auch Sand rein und da habe ich für die Reinigung noch keine Lösung.

Meine Quarter Stute läuft super mit Runa, das Kleben ist sehr einfach und die Beschläge sind sehr langlebig . Bin 100% zufrieden!

erster Klebebeschlag als Laie
Ich habe mit Runa das erste Mal selber geklebt. Ich hab mich für diese Variante entschieden, weil es grundsätzlich "nur" kleben ist.
Ich empfehle beim ersten Mal kleben sich wirklich Zeit zu nehmen, jedoch geht es mit jeder Lasche besser. Das Rundraspeln der Runa's habe ich vor dem Aufbringen gemacht.
Meine Empfehlung gute Handschuhe. Ich habe den Kleber auf die Hand bekommen und bin recht erschrocken, wie heiß der für einen Augenblick wird.
Das Pferd läuft sehr zufrieden. Zwei Laschen musste ich nachkleben, dass ging jedoch gut.
Bei uns im Einsatz auf dem Sandplatz, beim Springen, im Matsch und auch im Wasser hält er bisher top.

Läuft
Auf Empfehlung meiner Freundin benutze ich jetzt auch den Runa Klebebeschlag. Mein Renter (30) läuft damit besser als mit Beschlag oder Barhuf. Also die perfekte Mischung für Gelenke und Huf. Bei uns halten sie noch nicht so lange aber ich möchte die Hufe sowieso öfter bearbeiten als alle 6-8 Wochen. Übung macht den Meister!
Size Adjustment
4 adjustment levels – from narrow to wide. The shoe comes preset to the middle position.
🔧 How to adjust:
- Remove the triangular bridge piece.
- Click the pins into the next slot for the desired width.
- Tip: Are the holes aligned in a straight line? Then you've found the right position – now click the shoe into place.
💡 Tip for wider settings:
- Click in and screw one side first.
- Then gently bend the shoe open and click in the second side.
Lock the Size & Degrease
Once you've adjusted the width of the glue-on shoe correctly, it needs to be fixed in place using the included nuts and screws.
- Insert the two included nuts into the aligned holes on the inside of the shoe. Press them in firmly so they stay securely in place.
- Insert the screws from the underside. Make sure to screw them in straight (!!), not at an angle – otherwise, they may strip and won’t hold properly.
- Use the Allen key to tighten the screws until they are completely recessed and flush with the sole of the shoe.
- Double-check that the shoe still fits perfectly after tightening.
Prepare the hoof: Use a hoof rasp to remove dirt and patina from the glue surface. Finish with the fine side to create a smooth surface.
Thoroughly clean the hoof with a lint-free alcohol wipe to remove any dirt, grease, or residue. A clean surface is essential for proper glue adhesion. Then clean the inside of the shoe with a lint-free alcohol wipe as well.
Gluing on the Runa
Once the size is locked in, you're ready to attach the glue-on shoe to the hoof.
- Put on the shoe: Slip the shoe onto the hoof and check the fit again to ensure it's sitting correctly and comfortably.
- Attach the glue tabs: Start with the rear tabs, gluing each one individually. Begin with the left rear tab, then the right rear, and work your way forward.
- Bend the tab outward so the inside is accessible for gluing.
- Apply 1–2 small drops of glue thinly (!) to the inside of the tab. Use as little glue as possible to ensure even spreading and strong adhesion (too much glue reduces bonding strength).
- Press the tab against the hoof and hold for 5 seconds with steady pressure to activate the glue and create a solid bond.
- Repeat this process for each remaining tab until all tabs are securely glued to the hoof.

Roughen: Carefully roughen the hoof wall with the fine side of the rasp (remove patina/dirt). Degrease: Clean with an alcohol wipe (included in the starter set) and let it evaporate briefly. After that, do not touch with bare hands. Glue: Apply super glue thinly to each tab, press 10 sec. per tab. Let it cure briefly – and you’re ready to go. Use caution on hind hooves/loose housing because of injury risk. How to glue – short & sweet Prepare: Thoroughly roughen the hoof with the fine side of the hoof rasp. Keep the rasp clean and grease-free. Thoroughly degrease. After roughening, do not touch the hoof with your hands to avoid re-contamination.
