Test erfolgreich
Meine Isistute läuft barfuss, auf längeren Ausritten mit Hufschuhen. Damit bin ich zufrieden. Auf zweiwöchigen Wanderritten gab es aber Scheuerstellen. Ich hoffe darum, dass die Klebeschuhe eine Lösung für uns sind. Dauerhaft kommen sie wegen der Gammelgefahr für mich nicht in Frage: man sollte den Huf wirklich jeden Tag gründlich reinigen. Das funktionierte mit Fußbad bzw. großer Spritze mit Wasser gut. Andere Hufschuhe mit geschlossenen Sohlen finde ich bedenklich.
Dem Rat von Hoofstar folgend, haben wir einige Wochen vor dem großen Ritt das Kleben an 2 Hufen geübt. Das war eine gute Entscheidung! Auch ich kann bestätigen: wenn man gründlich vorbereitet (aufraut, reinigt), klebt es gut. Natürlich dauert es beim 1. Mal lange, vor allem das Einstellen der Größe und immer wieder Anprobieren. Ich habe sie dem Rat Janas folgend eng eingestellt. Es gab selbst verschuldete Klebefehler: da ist mir z.B. der Handschuh dazwischen geraten. (Auf dem Video sieht man, dass man den obersten Rand der Lasche getrost ohne Kleber lassen kann. Der verteilt sich beim Andrücken dorthin und man kann so die Lasche gefahrlos greifen.) An einer Lasche löste sich nach einigen Tagen das weiche Pad von der Lasche. Das sollte nicht passieren, aber man hätte es vermutlich wieder festkleben können. Mein Test war jedoch beendet, ich habe die Schuhe wieder abgemacht. Das ging mit dünnem Hufkratzer und stumpfer Zange gut. Oft löste sich das Pad mittig (wie von Vladi gesagt), so dass ein Teil am Huf blieb. Das spricht für die Verklebung, schätze ich. Trotz nicht perfekter Klebung, die ich nicht korrigiert habe, haben die Schuhe 1 Woche mit mehreren Ausritten in allen Gangarten sicher gehalten. Der Abrieb war minimal. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich die Runas auf dem Wanderritt bewähren.

Tolle Lösung
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit den Runa und würde sie weiterempfehlen. Das Pferd läuft einwandfrei damit. Lediglich die Laschen lösen sich ab und zu, was vermutlich auch an meiner Technik liegen könnte.

Temporärer Hufschutz für Wanderritt
Der Runa ist super geeignet als temporärer Schutz.
Der Versand war schnell und die Platten haben eine gute Passform. Durch die Anpassungsmöglichkeiten passt eine Größe bei meinem Pferd sogar vorne und hinten!

Mein Pferd läuft super, kleben Anfangs etwas tricky
Da die Hufe von meinem drei Jährigen Hannoveraner über Winter super kurz gelaufen waren und ich keinen klassischen Beschlag wollte, bin ich bei der Rechere auf die Runa von Hoofstar aufmerksam geworden. Bestellt, die Hufbearbeitung von meinem Hufschmied durchführen lassen und anschließend selbet geklebt.
Mein Pferd läuft bombenmäßig - das vorbereiten und kleben ist anfangs etwas tricky. Beim ersten mal hat die eine Seite daher nur 2 Wochen gehalten und ich habe anschließend beide abgenommen. Beim zweiten Mal kleben war ich besser vorbereitet und bisher hält alles super und mein Pferd läuft nach wie vor super mit den Runa, sodass ich überlege sie dauerhaft zu nutzen und auch für meine Stute, die bisher klassisch Beschlagen ist umstelle.
Leider sind die Laschen für den Huf etwas zu breit, sodass ich sie überlappend kleben muss, was halt kostet. Beim nächsten mal schaue ich mal, ob ich die Klebelaschen schmaler schneiden kann.

bisher hält er sehr gut
Ich habe vor 1 1/2 Wochen den schwarzen Runa das erste Mal geklebt. Hatte vorher per WhatsApp ein Foto mit dem Huf-Maß geschickt und auch recht schnell eine Antwort bekommen welche Größe für uns passen würde.
Daraufhin bestellt, war trotzdem skeptisch ob er wirklich passt.
Ja was soll ich sagen, er passt wie angegossen und hält bisher noch sehr gut…Pferd steht im Offenstall, da hat sie vorsichtshalber Glocken drauf und wird 3-4mal die Woche in allen 4 Gangarten im Gelände bewegt.
Werde wohl wieder bestellen :)

Leichte Verarbeitung
Hab das erste Mal Runa geklebt und kam sehr gut zurecht.
Bei guter Vorarbeit mit wirklich ganz glatt bearbeiteten Wänden war das Kleben easy und schnell.
Die Überstände hinten hab ich mit einer Hufzange gekürzt und nachgeraspelt.
Pferd lief auf Anhieb toll damit und es hält bisher Bombe!
Einziger Kritikpunkt wäre für mich dass über dem Strahl relativ viel Material ist, bin gespannt wie sich das in der Pflege auf Dauer auswirkt.
Size Adjustment
4 adjustment levels – from narrow to wide. The shoe comes preset to the middle position.
🔧 How to adjust:
- Remove the triangular bridge piece.
- Click the pins into the next slot for the desired width.
- Tip: Are the holes aligned in a straight line? Then you've found the right position – now click the shoe into place.
💡 Tip for wider settings:
- Click in and screw one side first.
- Then gently bend the shoe open and click in the second side.
Lock the Size & Degrease
Once you've adjusted the width of the glue-on shoe correctly, it needs to be fixed in place using the included nuts and screws.
- Insert the two included nuts into the aligned holes on the inside of the shoe. Press them in firmly so they stay securely in place.
- Insert the screws from the underside. Make sure to screw them in straight (!!), not at an angle – otherwise, they may strip and won’t hold properly.
- Use the Allen key to tighten the screws until they are completely recessed and flush with the sole of the shoe.
- Double-check that the shoe still fits perfectly after tightening.
Prepare the hoof: Use a hoof rasp to remove dirt and patina from the glue surface. Finish with the fine side to create a smooth surface.
Thoroughly clean the hoof with a lint-free alcohol wipe to remove any dirt, grease, or residue. A clean surface is essential for proper glue adhesion. Then clean the inside of the shoe with a lint-free alcohol wipe as well.
Gluing on the Runa
Once the size is locked in, you're ready to attach the glue-on shoe to the hoof.
- Put on the shoe: Slip the shoe onto the hoof and check the fit again to ensure it's sitting correctly and comfortably.
- Attach the glue tabs: Start with the rear tabs, gluing each one individually. Begin with the left rear tab, then the right rear, and work your way forward.
- Bend the tab outward so the inside is accessible for gluing.
- Apply 1–2 small drops of glue thinly (!) to the inside of the tab. Use as little glue as possible to ensure even spreading and strong adhesion (too much glue reduces bonding strength).
- Press the tab against the hoof and hold for 5 seconds with steady pressure to activate the glue and create a solid bond.
- Repeat this process for each remaining tab until all tabs are securely glued to the hoof.

Für die Größenfindung gilt: Breiteste Stelle des Hufs messen, RUNA am Huf probeaufsetzen, Verzahnung einklicken, mit Schrauben sichern – für passgenauen Sitz. Montage – kurz & klar Huf vorbereiten: Klebeflächen gründlich mit der feinen Raspelseite anrauen; Huf muss sauber, trocken, nicht geölt und nicht entfettet sein. Nach dem Anrauen nicht mehr mit bloßen Händen berühren. RUNA einstellen & fixieren: Verzahnung einklicken, mit Schrauben gegen Verstellen sichern. Laschen kleben: Laschen einzeln abspreizen, Kleber auftragen, 5–10 Sek. andrücken; danach Überstände sauber verrunden/kürzen. Tipp: Für zusätzliche Traktion Widia-Stifte einschrauben (bis zu 6 pro Huf). Bei Hinterhufen & im Herdenbetrieb mit Bedacht einsetzen (Verletzungsrisiko). Nicht für häufiges Ein-/Ausschrauben gedacht. Warum Klebebeschläge? Kunststoff-Klebebeschläge sind leicht, stoßdämpfend und laufen sich nahezu wie barhuf.
