Snow Grip for Hoofstar RUNA
Everything for secure footing in winter: The Snow Grip for Hoofstar RUNA is inserted into the RUNA glue-on shoe and reliably prevents snow and mud from “balling up” in the open sole. This keeps the tread surface clear – your horse has noticeably better traction in slush, on wet grass, and on frozen ground.

Important sizing note
Please always order the matching size: For each RUNA shoe size you need the identical Snow Grip size. Available for all RUNA sizes (sizes 10 to 14). (Example: RUNA size 12 ⇒ Snow Grip size 12.)
Assembly (before gluing)
- Check/set the RUNA size.
- Place the Snow Grip in the designated position and screw it firmly with the included screws – countersink all screws completely flush.
- Glue the RUNA to the hoof as usual.

RUNA arrives ready to mount, is quickly adjusted, and is applied with cyanoacrylate (super glue) directly on the standing hoof. No trimming, no welding, and an open sole for a natural feel. Keep the rasp clean and grease-free. Thoroughly degrease. After roughening, do not touch the hoof with your hands to avoid re-contamination. Adjust: Set the size, click in the bridge, fix with the countersunk screw. Glue: Apply cyanoacrylate (RUNA) to clean, dry, fresh horn – place, press, done. All steps in the video tutorial.
