Easy in der Handhabung
Ich habe den Runa zum ersten Mal probiert.
Sobald der Runa richtig angepasst ist, ist das Aufkleben wirklich eine „Sekundensache“.
Auch das Nachkleben der Laschen geht sehr schnell.
Ein großer Vorteil sind die bereits angeschweißten Klebelaschen.
Der Runa ist wirklich sehr einfach in der Handhabung.

Erfahrung mit Runa in den letzten 3 Monaten
Wir nutzen nun in der 3. beschlagsperiode Runa Klebebeschlag auf allen 4 Hufen. Wenn man ordentlich und sauber arbeitet hält der Beschlag sehr gut. Es ist definitiv von Vorteil, wenn das Pferd ruhig stehen kann. Ich hatte anfangs etwas Bedenken, wie der Huf sich unter dem Klebebeschlag entwickelt, bin aber sehr positiv überrascht. Wir sind hauptsächlich auf dem Reitplatz (Springen/Dressur) und im Gelände unterwegs, hinzukommen täglich Fuehranlage und Paddock. Wir konnten den Klebebeschlag mit Hilfe des Repair kits problemlos 2 mal benutzen. Definitiv eine sehr gute Alternative zum traditionellem Eisen.

Sehr zufrieden mit Hoofstar Runa Bekleb
Mein Pferd benötigt einen Hufschutz beim Ausreiten, da es fühlig lief.
Mit dem Hoofstar Runa kommt mein Pferd sehr gut klar. Es läuft damit locker auch auf Schotterwegen, wo es zuvor selbst mit Sohlen in den Hufschuhen nicht gehen wollte.
Seit einem 3/4 Jahr läuft mein Pferd nun wunderbar mit dem Bekleb. Anfangs war ich unsicher, ob sich der Runa eignet, da mein Pferd stark dreht beim Auffußen und sich teilweise gegenseitig auf die Hufe tritt und früher der Beschlag nicht gut gehalten hat. Aber der Runa hält besser als der frühere Beschlag (vielleicht auch, weil der Bekleb schmerzfrei und entspannt in Ruhe korrekt angebracht werden kann und das früher nötige Aufnageln kaum möglich war aufgrund von arthrosebedingten Schmerzen und Abwehrverhalten beim Pferd (trotz Schmerzmittel und Sedierung)). Allerdings nutzt sich der Bekleb durch das Drehen stark und einseitig ab und kann bei meinem Pferd nur einmal verwendet werden. Der Grip ist gut (im Winter mit Schneegrips), lediglich nasse Wiese ist geringfügig rutschiger als Barhuf. Die Vorbereitung für das Anbringen empfinde ich als sehr zeitaufwendig, denke aber, dass dies nicht besonders für Runa ist, sondern generell für Bekleb die Größenanpassung des Beklebs und die Vorbereitung der Hufe aufwändig ist. Im Winter wollte ich nur vorne Bekleben, habe allerdings einen deutlichen Unterschied der Beinbelastung beim Stehen wegen der Arthrose festgestellt. Daher habe ich durchgängig alle vier Hufe beklebt und kann den Runa bei Arthrose Pferden sehr empfehlen. Mein Pferd hat leider zudem Polster benötigt, was aber mit dem Runa ebenfalls möglich ist. Dazu ist ein Schutz des Polsters durch z.B. Shupads oder Schneegrips nötig. Durch das polsterbedingt kaum oder nicht mehr mögliche Auskratzen der Hufe hat sich Fäule entwickelt. Aber diese ist mit einer Anti Fäule Paste vor Anbringung des Beklebs gut in den Griff zu bekommen. Lediglich rutscht der Runa durch die Paste stark, bevor er aufgeklebt wir. Dann sollte der Runa erst angeklebt werden, bevor der Huf abgestellt wird. Dies ist vom Handling umständlicher als die Anbringung am abgestellten Huf. Aber ein zufriedenes Pferd ist mit den Aufwand gerne wert und ich bin froh, durch den Runa, den ich alleine anbringen kann, zeitlich unabhängig von der Hufbearbeitung zu sein.

Sehr zufrieden
Ich benutze den Beschlag nun schon über 1 Jahr und bin sehr zufrieden. Das einzige was meiner Meinung nach noch verbessert werden könnte ist, dass sich der Dreck sehr in der Aussparung unten sehr stark ansammelt/ aufstollt. Sonst perfekt.

Runa Klebebeschlag
Kann ich nur empfehlen!!! Unser Pony berauchte dringend Beschlag und ganz schnell und unkompliziert konnte ich mir die Runa Klebebeschläge holen und meinem Pony sofort helfen , es war recht einfach und wir sind sehr zufrieden und werden auch bei dem System bleiben. Danke ans Team!!!!

Wir kommen super damit klar aber…
Seit längerem haben wir jetzt schon die Runa Klebe Schuhe und Sind zufrieden. Stute mit Huf läuft prima und auch unser Arthrose Pferd läuft sehr gut damit was leider nicht so gut funktioniert Ist die zweimalige Nutzung. Wir haben das jetzt probiert, Mussten aber feststellen, dass es sehr zeitintensiv ist den Gummi abzumachen und auch die Haltbarkeit ist bei zweimaliger Nutzung nicht wirklich mehr so gegeben wie bei Neukauf. Wir kaufen daher die vorderen immer neu und benutzen für die hinteren die älteren Beschläge. Da ist es nicht so schlimm, wenn die nach ein paar Wochen abfallen. Bei drei Pferden wäre Mengenrabatt gut 😉

Klebt richtig gut
Habe zum ersten Mal Bekleb bei meinen beiden Pferden getestet und war gespannt wie lange sie halten. Sie kleben nun schon fast 4 Wochen Bombenfest. Bei einem Huf hat sich eine Lasche minimal am oberen Rand gelöst. Hält jedoch alles immer noch super. Kann es absolut empfehlen.

Absolute Empfehlung!
Super einfach zum selber Ankleben! Wir nutzen den Runa schon seit ca. 2 Jahren! Mein Pferd und ich lieben ihn! Ohne Hufschutz geht bei uns leider gar nicht mehr, aber Hufeisen wollte ich absolut nicht! Beste Entscheidung, möchte den Runa Bekleb nicht mehr missen! In 5 Minutem angeklebt. Nutze schon seit 2020 die Produkte von Hoofstar. Immer noch sehr zufrieden! :)
Size Adjustment
4 adjustment levels – from narrow to wide. The shoe comes preset to the middle position.
🔧 How to adjust:
- Remove the triangular bridge piece.
- Click the pins into the next slot for the desired width.
- Tip: Are the holes aligned in a straight line? Then you've found the right position – now click the shoe into place.
💡 Tip for wider settings:
- Click in and screw one side first.
- Then gently bend the shoe open and click in the second side.
Lock the Size & Degrease
Once you've adjusted the width of the glue-on shoe correctly, it needs to be fixed in place using the included nuts and screws.
- Insert the two included nuts into the aligned holes on the inside of the shoe. Press them in firmly so they stay securely in place.
- Insert the screws from the underside. Make sure to screw them in straight (!!), not at an angle – otherwise, they may strip and won’t hold properly.
- Use the Allen key to tighten the screws until they are completely recessed and flush with the sole of the shoe.
- Double-check that the shoe still fits perfectly after tightening.
Prepare the hoof: Use a hoof rasp to remove dirt and patina from the glue surface. Finish with the fine side to create a smooth surface.
Thoroughly clean the hoof with a lint-free alcohol wipe to remove any dirt, grease, or residue. A clean surface is essential for proper glue adhesion. Then clean the inside of the shoe with a lint-free alcohol wipe as well.
Gluing on the Runa
Once the size is locked in, you're ready to attach the glue-on shoe to the hoof.
- Put on the shoe: Slip the shoe onto the hoof and check the fit again to ensure it's sitting correctly and comfortably.
- Attach the glue tabs: Start with the rear tabs, gluing each one individually. Begin with the left rear tab, then the right rear, and work your way forward.
- Bend the tab outward so the inside is accessible for gluing.
- Apply 1–2 small drops of glue thinly (!) to the inside of the tab. Use as little glue as possible to ensure even spreading and strong adhesion (too much glue reduces bonding strength).
- Press the tab against the hoof and hold for 5 seconds with steady pressure to activate the glue and create a solid bond.
- Repeat this process for each remaining tab until all tabs are securely glued to the hoof.

Use caution on hind hooves/loose housing because of injury risk. How to glue – short & sweet Prepare: Thoroughly roughen the hoof with the fine side of the hoof rasp. Keep the rasp clean and grease-free. Thoroughly degrease. After roughening, do not touch the hoof with your hands to avoid re-contamination. Adjust: Set the size, click in the bridge, fix with the countersunk screw. Glue: Apply cyanoacrylate (RUNA) to clean, dry, fresh horn – place, press, done. All steps in the video tutorial. Montage – kurz & klar Huf vorbereiten: Klebeflächen gründlich mit der feinen Raspelseite anrauen; Huf muss sauber, trocken, nicht geölt und nicht entfettet sein. Nach dem Anrauen nicht mehr mit bloßen Händen berühren. RUNA einstellen & fixieren: Verzahnung einklicken, mit Schrauben gegen Verstellen sichern.
